Here, the painting: acrylic, watercolour, a red line. The idea of the wall, the techniques, where the paintings have been and how to write to me.
The site is built like the wall of a gallery: you walk it from left to right, one painting after another, and the red line that signs every work runs along the whole route.
I combine different techniques, and each one brings its own gesture: acrylic layers, watercolour cannot go back. The line holds them together.
Portraits, anthropomorphic figures, hands and mountain landscapes defined by the signature of the red line. The convergence of oil, acrylic and digital painting explores identity and form, an ongoing dialogue between the human and the natural world.
Acrylic on canvas, wood and paper is the body of the work: layers, drips, brushstrokes that stay. Watercolour on paper is its opposite, a final pass that cannot be corrected. In Facades, hand drawing meets a generative model trained on my paintings.
Twelve paintings, gathered by technique.
